Alpha software, not for production data. Bugs can cause data loss, formats may change without migration, and the cryptography has not been independently audited. Keep your own backups and check that you can restore from them.

Status of the documents that will define formats and protocols. Most of what exists is described in alpha-0-format.md, section by section; anything marked not started has no implementation. They are intended to be open so that implementations remain interoperable and data stays recoverable.
